Sailboat-Only Dockage on Sandusky Bay

The Sadler Sailing Basin is Sandusky Sailing Club's sailboat-only marina that offers floating docks with water and electricity for 140 sailboats up to 40 feet in length. Sadler Sailing Basin is the only Sailboat Only Dockage on Sandusky Bay. Sadler Sailing Basin also has dry-sail space for smaller boats on trailers as well as storage for dinghies. Four hoists that can accommodate boats up to 3500 pounds and a ramp provide quick launching and take-out capability. Multi-hull boats can be accommodated either on trailers, docks, or moored from a buoy. Visiting sailboats should contact the Sandusky Sailing Club prior to arrival for dockage rates, berth assignments, and/or information. 

 

 

SSC TRANSIENT DOCKAGE RATES

  • Members of other I-LYA-Member Clubs receive short-term courtesy dockage based on availability for the first (2) Nights, w/ $1.50/ft per each Additional Night. I-LYA-Member Club Powerboats are permitted to use short-term courtesy dockage. 
  • Support Powerboats are permitted dockage for the duration of a Regatta or with prior approval of the Club for longer durations. Email [email protected] if bringing a Powerboat to the Club for a Regatta.
  • Non-I-LYA Member Overnight Dockage is $1.50/ft per Night (Sailboats Only)
  • Enter 41° 27' 36'' N, 82° 42' 0'' W into your Chart Plotter for the Sadler Sailing Basin Entrance. Enter the Basin Entrance with the SSC Rock Buoy to Starboard to avoid the Rocks between buoy and wall.

 

SSC MEMBER BERTH FEES FOR 2023 SEASON (Sailboats Only)

Sailboats over the dock length will pay an additional fee per foot and Taxes are not included. Do not send payment with Dock Application (page 2 of the linked PDF) as payment will be indicated on the Dock Contract when issued.
